		<description><![CDATA[The Colca canyon is one of the deepest of the world with a depth of more than 3400 meters. Located a few minutes of the town of Chivay, here is possible to visit the observatory called la Cruz del Condor, where the visitors can appreciate the majestic flight of the biggest bird of the world the condor god of the Andean skies. In the trip to the Colca canyon is possible to appreciate the beauty of the mountains, the volcanoes, the high plateaus which are the natural place of wonderful animals like the vicunas that live free in the natural reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blanca, also it is possible to see the alpacas which are domesticated by the inhabitants of the Colca Valley and hundreds of cactus, wild birds and rodents as the vizcacha between others. From the Colca Canyon is possible to appreciate the beauty of the snow-capped mountains of the Ampato, Coropuna and Mismi wherefrom the waters of the Amazon are born. Finally in the Colca Valley, it is possible to appreciate the beautiful clothings of the inhabitants called Collaguas and Cabanas their interesting traditions, antcient colonial churches, craftsmanship and hospitality. Additionally tourists can make specacular walks well-known as trekking routes toward the bottom of the canyon in which they can observe the Colca river, the nature, the small villages, the people and a wonderful oasis where tourists can rest and also admire the flight of the condors.
