How strange! They have some very interesting flavors of ice cream out in Aspen, CO at the local icecream shop but nothing as odd as this…it’s more along the lines of pomegranate or blackberry!

European, Méxican and Mayan? You got the wrong Mérida. They’re talking about the Mérida in Venezuela.

Mérida has great local food and drink, resulting from the fusion of European, Mexican, and Mayan cultures. Mayan dishes such as pollo pibil, poc chuc, and papadzules are a great introduction to the spices and cooking techniques of the region.
