Watch a Brazilian Football Match
I love football, but I can’t think of a better, more apt thing to do in Brazil than go and watch a Brazilian football match. Don’t buy an over priced ticket from your hostel, games rarely sell out unless there big Derby’s so just make you own way down to the ground.
We went to the Maracana to watch Fluminense, my now adopted Brazilian team. Its not dangerous, the local crowds couldn’t have been friendly, giving us confetti to throw, letting us wave their huge flags and even taking us out for drinks after to celebrate.
I can’t think of anything that would typify Brazil more for me than watching a game of football in the Maracana, the crowd singing and dancing with the Christ the Redeemer in the distancewatching down on us.
Christ the Redeemer

Brazilian Football is so great! But it’s not the only thing to see here, we have a lot of different things to see.
