Los Uros Girl – Friday Photo
During a tour of the Floating islands of Los Uros on Lake Titicaca, Peru I managed to get this shot of a beautiful little localgirl. She hung on the ladder of the island look out whilst we sheltereded from the sun under it. The rest of the tour group had gone for a cruise in a reed boat and as we had no money, we stayed on the floating island. We were glad we did in the end as we got to play with the children on the island, and feel less like we were on a ride in a Theme Park.
