Curitiba is a lovely city of 1.75 million in situated in the state of Parana and makes a great stop on the way from Rio into Argentina. Curitiba is an important cultural, political and economic city in Brazil and has been heavily influenced by the waves of European immigrants started arriving after 1850. After travelling from the North East of Brazil down the coast it was the first place in Brazil where we were actually mistaken for being Brazilian!

There’s some lovely things to see in Curitiba and all very easily by purchasing a tourist bus ticket that allows you to hop on and off a bus circling the city, visiting the many sites throughout the day. The highlights including:
