Bridge Over the River Kwai Festival in Photos
The Bridge Over the River Kwai Festival takes place every year in late November and early December. The main event is Sound & Light Show, which tells the history of the Death Railway, the Hellfire Pass and the Bridge on the River Kwai.
We watched the show from aboard a raft boat but I think in hindsight getting a ticket in the grand stand beside the bridge would probably be the better option. The show was really good fun with an atmospheric soundtrack, horizontal fireworks and explosions, men on fire and a mick section of the bridge collapsing into the river.
