Floating Bar – A Day in Nha Trang, Vietnam

One of the highlights of our travel up the Vietnamese coast has got to be being a Vietnamese tourist for the day, we were the only non-Vietnamese on the boat trip that took off from Nha Trang and visited 4 islands, it included a ramshackle live band, great food and a floating bar!

The day went like this:

Book a boat trip…

Dance with the man with the coconut bikini, then jump of the boat, float around on rubber rings and atempt to drink Vietnamese red wine and pineapple whilst staying afloat… Awesome!

and get paddled around in a basket at a fishing village…

After the boat trip we enjoyed yet another Vietnamese baquette (there really nice and cost almost nothing!)…

Vietname Baguettes

After the baguette we headed to main beach to watch the locals flying kites as the sunset…

In Nha Trang we stayed at Kim Ugen it was 6$ for a room with a/c and a balcony. Very nice!

  5. This is the first time, I see people in a basket. That image is indeed funny. I am gonna build the floating bar myself for the next pool party. ;)
