Rough Guides have put together a new online game to tie-in with their latest publication- Earthbound: A Rough Guide to the World in Pictures. The online game tests your travel photography knowledge against the clock; look at the photos, guess where they are taken and drag them to the place on the map as quickly as possible. Its not as easy as you might think!
The new Rough Guide book, Earthbound, is a Photographic guide to the world made up of all those great travel photos you’ve seen in the Rough Guides.
What’s pretty cool about this book is each photo has a bar-code you can scan using a bit of software added to your mobile phone (if you’ve got an advanced one that is, unfortunately i haven’t). Once you’ve scanned the photo bar-code into your phone you should be shown the location within Google Maps. All you got to do now is win the competition and get on a plane to recreate the photos!
